During this treatment, I will perform a combination of facial, upper decolletage, shoulder and back of neck massage. Including acupressure, and lymphatic drainage techniques to stimulate circulation, release tension, and promote detoxification. Our faces carry a lot of stress and tension, and the muscles work hard every day.

All products used for my Ocean Facials are from ALGOLOGIE, a French world class skincare company, containing Algae and marine active ingredients.

What to expect:

Following an initial free 10-15 minute consultation you will be invited to make yourself comfortable on the couch, with a blanket to help keep you warm during your treatment. You may find it easier to remove heavy, upper garments of clothes and ideally wear a strappy vest for the treatment. I will encourage you at the start to take some deep breaths to enable you to begin to fully relax – we will do this at your own pace and only what feels comfortable and manageable for you.
I begin with a relaxing, gentle massage to the upper chest, arms, shoulders and up into the back of the neck, whilst you are lying on your back, using a luxury soothing body oil, including a variety of massage and lymphatic drainage techniques. This encourages the opening of the lymph nodes along the neck and collarbone to aid proper lymph flow and drainage during the facial massage.
The treatment will progress with a double cleanse, exfoliation and application of a suitable face mask, using restorative, natural products, each followed by a luxurious hot towel steam that opens up pores and stimulates blood and lymph flow, helping expose younger cells and removing make up and pollutants.
This holistic facial includes a choice of a wonderful relaxing arm and hand massage or foot Reflexology whilst your face mask does its work lasting 10 – 15 minutes.
The facial massage releases muscular tension and increases blood and lymphatic circulation in the face, head and neck. This creates a youthful glow with more vitality, less puffiness, and a smoother appearance. Acupressure and lymphatic drainage techniques are also used. Various points around the face and head can be stimulated to clear energy blockages and allow energy to flow freely.
A toner, eye cream, serum and moisturiser will be applied to complete your journey of your holistic facial.

Aftercare:

Following your Holistic Facial treatment, as with all treatments I will encourage you to drink plenty of fluids (up to 2 litres a day) for 24 -48 hours to help flush out the toxins which have been released during the course of your treatment. I also advise that you to try and reduce intake of tea, coffee or alcohol. And to try and avoid putting any make up on to allow your skin to breathe.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS

Before your treatment, I will need to confirm the following with you, as these are some of the contra-indications which may delay your treatment. Please see information below:-

FACE LIFT - There will need to be at least a 3 month gap following your surgery

BOTOX AND FILLERS - There will need to be at least a 3 - 4 week gap following your procedure

OPEN WOUNDS - Until they are healed
